|Lind Equipment launches Beacon LED Tower|
Lind Equipment is proud to announce the launch of its new Beacon LED Tower, the first light tower to be built by a lighting company, not a generator company.
The Beacon LED Tower is a high-output, man-portable light tower that can run on external electrical power or a user-supplied on-board small generator/inverter. It brings a large set of benefits to those needing remote or large area lighting, and at half the cost of traditional metal halide generator light towers.
The Beacon LED Tower uses state-of-the-art Lind Equipment large area LED floodlights that provide more mean light output than traditional metal halide bulbs, but use 80% less power. These lights are warrantied for three years and rated for over 50,000 hours, meaning customers will never have to change a bulb again.
The small power draw of the ultra-efficient LED lights means that there is no need for a large engine or generator in the Beacon LED Tower. As such, Lind Equipment designed it to be truly man-portable. Weighing just over 200 pounds, the Beacon LED Tower can be moved around a jobsite by one person, and lifted by a couple. Two Beacon LED Towers will fit in the back of a standard-sized pick-up truck, and it is small enough to fit through a doorway.
Also, the small power draw means that the Beacon LED Tower doesn’t require much electricity to operate. Two of the LE980LED-T4 (four light head) Beacon LED Towers can be run off a single 15A circuit and require only 800W of power. If power is not available, a user-supplied small suitcase generator can sit safely inside the lockable ventilated housing and have plenty of excess energy for other uses. Beacon LED Towers come with an outlet for daisy-chaining multiple units together.
The Beacon LED Tower comes standard with an external fuel tank (inside the housing), which supplements the run time of a suitcase generator to about 45 hours. Whether running off external power or a suitcase generator, the Beacon LED Tower is whisper-quiet, perfect for urban construction or events.

|Lind Equipment launches LED temporary high bay light|
Lind Equipment proudly introduces the newest addition to its Beacon Light line of portable LED floodlights, the LE-HB150LED LED temporary high bay light. An integral part of the LED Jobsite suite of temporary site lighting for construction sites, the Beacon LED temporary high bay light drives huge electricity, labor and material savings for general contractors and electricians.
Temporary high bay lights are used in construction sites to light up large areas from heights greater than 15’. For retail stores, lobbies, and any area with a higher than normal ceiling height, the temporary high bay has been a staple of construction sites for many years. The Lind LE-HB150LED changes the equation by providing a more efficient and cost-effective solution than traditional bulb-based high bay lights.
With the use of high-efficiency LEDs, the LE-HB150LED puts out the same amount of usable light as a 400W metal halide high bay, but with only 150W of energy usage. This reduction in electricity usage alone can pay for the light on the first project. And unlike traditional bulb-based high bays, the Lind Equipment LED temporary high bay is built durable enough to be used again and again from project to project.
For general contractors and electricians, the savings from using the LE-HB150LED also come from a reduction in installation and maintenance activities. The LE-HB150LED comes out of the box with a daisy-chain outlet, allowing quick installation of multiple lights on one circuit without having to run dedicated cords. Because of its low energy draw, the LE-HB150LED can be daisy-chained up to nine units on a single 15A circuit. In addition, because there are no bulbs to break or burn out, there is virtually no maintenance needed once the lights are hung.
The LE-HB150LED has a multitude of benefits over the traditional bulb-based high bays. In addition to the ones already listed, the LE-HB150LED will instantly start and restart in all weather conditions and doesn’t require a ‘warm-up’ period like bulb-based high bays. It also does not generate dangerous heat like the metal halide bulb-based high bays.

Lind Equipment proudly introduces the newest addition to its Beacon Light line of portable LED floodlights, the rechargeable battery operated Beacon360. |Markham, ON, Canada (January 22, 2014) – Lind Equipment proudly introduces its newest addition to its Beacon Light line of LED floodlights, the LE965LEDC. The LE965LEDC is a 30W rechargeable battery operated LED floodlight that provides equivalent light to a 300W quartz halogen for four hours on a single charge. |Lind Equipment releases new value priced LED dock light|
|Markham, ON, Canada (November 5, 2013) – Lind Equipment proudly introduces its new LED dock light, the L41LED. The L41LED projects a bright white light that can light up an entire trailer with only 22W of energy usage. Priced within range of a traditional quartz halogen dock light, the L41LED can provide a payback of less than half a year compared to traditional technology. These durable and reusable LED string lights will illuminate job sites while using 90% less energy than standard incandescent string lights. |Lind Equipment releases new StaticSure portable static monitoring system|
|Markham, ON, Canada (June 3, 2013) – Lind Equipment is proud to announce the launch of its new portable static monitoring system, StaticSure. This modular system provides users with a bright visible warning if they are not properly draining static electricity while transferring flammables. StaticSure provides assurance that the worker is safe from explosions or fires related to static discharge.
Any transfer or mixing of flammable liquids or solids generates a static charge that has the potential to cause explosions. All North American Fire Codes require operators to drain this static safely. But traditional clamps and grounding cables do not warn operators is there is not a proper connection in place, leaving them vulnerable to static discharge and the subsequent fire or explosion.
The StaticSure system uses an intrinsically safe set of electronics to monitor the entire connection from clamp to ground point, and will warn the operator if for any reason the connection is not good enough to drain static electricity. StaticSure flashes a very bright red LED light that warns the operator and keeps flashing until the problem is resolved and static electricity can once again drain off the equipment.
StaticSure is cULus approved for Class I, Division 1, Groups ABCD and Class II, Division 1, Groups FG hazardous locations. The device itself is a small form factor unit that can be used portably or mounted to a wall or vehicle. The modular design uses standard industrial static grounding clamps that can be quickly disconnected and reconnected in whatever configuration is necessary for the work at hand.

|Lind Equipment releases new pulse-start temporary high bay light|
|Markham, ON, Canada (February 22, 2012) – Lind Equipment proudly introduces its new temporary high bay light, the LE-HB400PLS. The LE-HB400PLS is a 400W metal halide light that utilizes the latest pulse start technology. The LE-HB400PLS is a cost-effective, robust, energy efficient solution for high bay construction site lighting.
The LE-HB400PLS uses pulse start technology to achieve several benefits over the traditional probe start lights.
